Skincare for Travel Weary Skin

It's almost that time of year! Folks are traveling for summer vacations, weddings, graduations, and family reunions, and it's likely you'll be in a different climate than normal with a variety of environmental factors affecting your skin (sun, salt water, pools, heat, humidity), different food, different water, a different routine, schedule, and sleep.

I don't know about you, but traveling can really take a toll on my skin. Whether I'm flying, taking a long car drive, or just away from home and my normal skincare routine, my skin seems to need some extra support when I'm on the move. Despite trying to drink tons of water and nourishing herbal teas, my skin seems to get a bit dry, dull, uneven tone, and even more sensitive to environmental factors than normal.

Check out my list of my favorite skincare potions to moisturize, refresh, rehydrate, and soothe after spending time on the road:

Blue Chamomile Cleansing Oil - A nice option for all skin types, this oil cleanser helps my skin return to balance anytime it's feeling off. The castor oil in it helps to draw out impurities, Avocado and Sunflower oils smooth + moisturize, while essential oils like Chamomile, Clary Sage, and Rosemary calm irritation and even out skin tone.

Rose Petal Hydrosol - The ultimate skin reviver, I keep a bottle of this in my bag at all times. Anytime my skin is feeling dull, dehydrated, or tired a few spritzes  leave me feeling refreshed and return my skin's own luster. Hydrosols are a great way to rehydrate your skin throughout the day, and can even be misted on over make-up!

Luna Face Serums - Depending on your skin type, you can choose between No. 1 or No. 2, and who doesn't love options? No one wants to weigh down their skin with heavy creams in the summer, but both Luna formulas provide lightweight moisture with incredibly nourishing, botanically-infused oils like hemp seed, jojoba, argan, and rosehip seed.
